Instructional Leader Empowerment

Cohort Application Now Available!

The Arkansas Leadership Academy is pleased to announce the acceptance of applications for Instructional Leader Empowerment for the 2021-2022 school year. Space is limited, so applications must be submitted by November 9, 2021 to ensure priority consideration.

Instructional Leaders are those within the school system that impact and support teachers and instruction in the classroom and may include principals, assistant principals, deans and directors, instructional facilitators, curriculum and instructional coaches, and district instructional leaders.

The purpose of Instructional Leader Empowerment is to support growth through a focus on improving instruction in the classroom. Instructional Leader Empowerment provides professional learning and sharing opportunities from both national subject matter experts and local Arkansas educators. Sessions focus on developing and nurturing a plan and process for instructional leaders to impact and support classroom teachers and instruction in the classroom.

The design of Instructional Leader Empowerment includes three, two-day onsite interactions for a total of six days of content delivery and sharing.
