The ALA Assistant/Reach Coordinator is a full-time, year-round project assistant level position reporting to the Arkansas Leadership Academy Director. Primary responsibilities include:
Recruiting, scheduling, preparing, and hosting Arkansas presenters for virtual professional learning sessions via ALA Reach;
Planning, coordinating, and hosting national experts for virtual or in-person professional learning sessions via ALA Reach or other ALA programs;
Supporting outreach activities to increase ALA’s visibility and participation; and
Serving as a thought partner and assisting the ALA Director with other communication, programmatic, financial, and administrative functions as needed.
